Train to Teach
School-Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT)
The Harmony Trust has partnered with award-winning Initial Teaching Training (ITT) Provider, Teach First to offer a school-based training route in all our North- West academies.
All participants will graduate at the end of their training year with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a PGCE from Sheffield Hallam University.
This classroom-based route gives trainees the opportunity to work within and impact their local community for the better.
As a Harmony trainee, you will be in the classroom from September, working under the guidance of an experienced teacher whilst you gain valuable insight into the day-to-day workings of a successful academy.
You will benefit from our comprehensive, research-based training programme delivered by our Harmony Trust course leaders. You'll be able to apply everything you've learnt back in your classroom and see the impact straight away.
